Description
FranklinWH aPbox Remote PV Junction Box (ACCY-RCV1-US)
The FranklinWH aPbox (ACCY-RCV1-US) functions as an intelligent remote junction box and combiner designed to integrate remote or oversized solar photovoltaic (PV) systems into the Franklin Home Power (FHP) energy management ecosystem. When complex roof layouts, ground-mounted arrays, or detached structures prevent direct wiring into the main aGate X controller, the aPbox serves as a dedicated junction point.
Featuring built-in current transformers (CTs) and automated control relays, this remote junction box provides precise power metering and export management across both residential and light commercial solar installations.
Key features:
- Voltage / Current rating: 120/240 V AC, up to 65 A maximum.
- Helps integrate PV systems into the Franklin Home Power (FHP) energy management setup, particularly when the PV system can’t be connected directly via the usual solar breaker (aGate X) due to distance, size, layout, or regulatory constraints.
- It has built‑in metering (via CTs / current transformers) and control capabilities: it can measure power flows from the solar system and disconnect or switch circuits as needed (for example, in blackout or grid export restrictions).
