The SMA DC-SPD-KIT6-10 Single-Pole DC Surge Protection Kit is an internal Type 2 DC surge protective device (SPD) engineered for SMA Sunny Tripower CORE1 and Sunny Tripower X series commercial inverters. It safeguards the inverter's MPPT tracking channels and DC power electronics against voltage transients, switching spikes, and indirect lightning strikes originating from the solar PV array wiring.

Designed for clean integration, this kit mounts into the designated internal slots of the inverter enclosure to provide full DC side overvoltage protection without requiring external combiner boxes.
