Enphase Communications Kit with CELLMODEM-M1-06-SP-05
This kit contains two Enphase products:
- Enphase Energy System Communications Kit (COMMS-KIT-01)
- Enphase Mobile Connect Cellular Modem CELLMODEM-M1-06-SP-05 with T-Mobile SIM
The Enphase Communications Kit (COMMS-KIT-01) contains a wireless USB adapter that facilitates continuous communication between IQ Gateway/IQ Combiner/Envoy-S Metered, IQ Gateway S Metered/IQ Gateway S combiner box, IQ Battery 3/3T/10/10T and IQ System Controller 1/2.
The Enphase Mobile Connect Cellular Modem delivers easy, reliable networking for Enphase Energy Systems. CELLMODEM-M1-06-SP-05 is an LTE CAT M1 cellular modem. It includes a prepaid 5-year data plan and acts as a backup communication path for an Enphase Energy System in case the Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity fails.

Communications Kit
- Enables direct communication between the IQ Battery, IQ System Controller, and IQ Gateway/Envoy-S or IQ Combiner box
- Needed for the proper functioning of the Enphase Energy System
- Connected to one of the USB ports on the IQ Gateway/Envoy-S Metered, usually located within the IQ Combiner
Enphase Mobile Connect Cellular Modem
- Comes with an internal antenna
- Pre-installed T-Mobile SIM
- Coverage available in US, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands
- LTE CAT M1 cellular connectivity
- Pre-configured to activate when connected to the IQ Gateway
- Provides backup connectivity for Enphase Energy System
- Transmits data to the Enphase Cloud four times a day
