The Sol-Ark 18K-2P-N is a high-capacity split-phase residential hybrid inverter engineered specifically for whole-home backup, off-grid power, and net-metered solar PV systems. Operating on a 48V nominal battery architecture, this unit delivers up to 18,000 Watts (18 kW) of continuous AC output power and up to 36 kW of surge capacity (10 seconds) to start heavy motor loads such as central HVAC units and well pumps during grid outages.

Equipped with 3 MPPT trackers supporting up to 6 individual PV string inputs, the 18K-2P-N manages up to 28.8 kW of usable DC solar power (and over 40 kW when utilizing AC coupling). Features include an integrated 200A grid pass-through switch for main service panel integration without an external transfer switch, as well as an IP65 / NEMA 3R outdoor-rated enclosure.
