The XR1000‑BOSS‑01‑M1 is a Bonded Structural Splice (BOSS) made by IronRidge for the XR1000 solar rail system. It provides a strong, tool‑free splice connection between XR1000 rails using a built‑in bonding spring that bites into the rail, creating a structural and electrical bond that meets UL 2703 standards. This splice can be installed anywhere along the rail span (except the outside cantilever), simplifying installation and improving system continuity.
