The Generac Ecobee Power Extender Kit is a compact wiring solution engineered for Smart Thermostat installations in homes lacking a dedicated common wire (C-wire). Designed to power 24 VAC ecobee thermostats directly from existing HVAC equipment wiring, this adapter eliminates the labor and expense of pulling new control cables through walls.

Operating on standard 18 to 30 VAC 50/60 Hz control circuits, the module safely delivers up to 2 A output current per terminal to maintain reliable power for smart thermostat displays and Wi-Fi radios. The indoor-rated unit features a wide operating temperature range (-40°F to 160°F), a compact footprint (2.44 in × 2.44 in × 0.90 in), and comes backed by a 3-year limited factory warranty.
