    SMA Single-Pole DC Surge Protection Kit - Type 2 (DC-SPD-KIT4-10)

    The SMA DC-SPD-KIT4-10 Single-Pole DC Surge Protection Kit is an internal Type 2 surge protective device (SPD) engineered specifically for the SMA Sunny Tripower CORE1-US inverter series. It protects the inverter's DC inputs and MPPT tracking circuits from transient overvoltages and indirect lightning strikes originating on the solar PV array wiring.

    This complete field-installable kit comes packaged with nine individual protective modules configured for full DC side coverage (6x PV+, 2x PV-, and 1x PV-PE ground protection) to install directly into the designated internal slots of the CORE1-US.
