The Tigo 490-00000-51 is a DIN-rail mounted Rapid Shutdown System (RSS) transmitter featuring Pure Signal technology and a single-core configuration. Built specifically for integration into commercial and residential solar PV arrays, this component transmits a continuous Power-Line Communication (PLC) keep-alive signal across DC string conductors to keep compatible rapid-shutdown devices (such as TS4-A-F and TS4-A-2F) active during normal grid operation.

Featuring Tigo's Pure Signal technology, this single-core transmitter prevents crosstalk interference in multi-inverter setups and permits synchronization across up to 10 transmitters over a 30-meter sync cable bus. Supplied as a standalone board unit without an enclosure or power supply, it installs directly onto 35mm DIN rails inside string combiner boxes or inverter wiring channels.
