The Tigo 459-00252-32 TS4-A-F is a module-level rapid shutdown device (MLPE) engineered to provide reliable fire-safety compliance for residential and commercial solar arrays. Designed to control a single PV module rated up to 700 W, it provides full compliance with NEC 2017, 2020, and 2023 690.12 standards when paired with an external Tigo RSS Transmitter or an inverter featuring an integrated certified transmitter.

Operating via standard power-line communication (PLC), the TS4-A-F maintains active panel circuit continuity as long as it detects an active keep-alive signal over the DC string homerun. When AC power to the transmitter is cut, the unit immediately triggers rapid shutdown, de-energizing the connected PV module to safe voltage limits within 30 seconds. This unit features 0.12 m input leads and 1.2 m output cables pre-terminated with genuine Stäubli MC4 connectors for standard portrait-oriented installations.
