    SnapNRack 242-01271 SPLICE UR-60, Silver

    To install the SnapNRack 242-01271, you slide the silver-anodized sleeve into the hollow channel of the Ultra Rail until the internal bonding pins bite into the aluminum with a distinct, metal-on-metal click. At just 0.72 lb, these splices are light enough to carry a dozen in a tool pouch, yet once the stainless steel hardware is tightened, the joint feels as stiff as a single continuous beam. This internal bridge eliminates the "bouncing" or "toeing-in" often seen at rail joints during heavy snow loads. Because the snap-in teeth handle the electrical path, you can ditch the bulky copper jumpers and grounding lugs, keeping the array's underside clear of wire clutter while maintaining a rock-solid, code-compliant bond.
