Description
Tigo Access Point (TAP)
The Tigo Access Point (TAP) is an array-mounted wireless transceiver designed to gather telemetry and manage module-level deactivation for Tigo TS4 smart modules and add-on devices (including TS4-A-O, TS4-A-S, and TS4-A-M). Paired with a Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) data logger, the TAP provides real-time monitoring and module-level safety enforcement across residential and commercial solar PV installations.
Engineered for direct installation on solar module frames or racking structures, the TAP establishes a 2.4 GHz wireless mesh connection with up to 300 TS4 units within a 15-meter (50-foot) line-of-sight radius. Connected back to the CCA via a standard RS485 communication bus, the TAP eliminates rooftop wire clutter while delivering high-speed panel-level data retrieval.
